Tons Of Fun Activities

When people think of the Pacific, they mostly think of beaches. And even though we had a great time frolicking on the beaches of Fiji, Bora Bora, and Tahiti, there was so much more to do than basking in the sun or swimming.

The Pacific is home to many countries and each country has a variety of fun activities to explore. From temple tours to mega-city exploration to volcano hiking for thrill seekers, there are endless opportunities to have fun and learn about the Pacific Islands.

Incredible Natural Beauty

The Pacific is known as the ring of fire, a belt along the pacific islands with hundreds of active volcanoes. While volcanoes are terrifying and have caused untold destruction, they’re also nutrient deposits that make soil extremely fertile.

So the Pacific islands are all beautiful, with lush greenery, coral reefs, and lands teeming with wildlife. They are a literal paradise and trekking through these fertile islands feels like being in another world.

Diverse Cultures

If you’re aiming to learn more about the world and other cultures, then the Pacific is the place to be. During our travels, we have learned so much about local traditions and cultures, and just how different all the islands and subsets were from one another.

There are many museums and tours that will take you through local villages and teach you about traditional lifestyles. You can also explore some of the magnificent temples. All of these paint a vivid picture of the past and how it shaped modern Pacific Island regions.

Fiji

The archipelago nation of Fiji is a must-visit Pacific travel destination. Not only is Fiji extremely beautiful, but it also has a rich culture. It’s home to the largest temple in the southern hemisphere, Sri Siva Subramaniya Temple, and the people are extremely warm and friendly.

We enjoyed our time in Fiji hopping from one island beach to the next and exploring the natural beauty of this region.

Australia

Known for its megacities, Australia has become one of the biggest economies and travel destinations in the world. We understand why.

We love to visit urban areas like Sydney and Melbourne, where one can enjoy all the modern amenities and activities. But we also highly recommend trekking through the outback and the bush, where you can see the raw, natural beauty of the Australian wilderness.

Malaysia

Malaysia is one of the most diverse places with the local population being a mix of Malay, Indian, Chinese, and Europeans. Besides the unique cultural influences, Malaysia is also known for its mega-cities, cultural sites, and natural wonders.

Tahiti

Tahiti is paradise on earth. The islands are covered in lush forests and the beaches are crystal clear. You can also pick between pristine white sandy beaches or the otherworldly black beaches of Lafayette.

And when you’re done exploring the beaches, you can trek around the Tahiti mountains and explore the amazing local fauna and flora. For us, Tahiti is the best place to relax. It gives you the opportunity to unplug and recuperate from the stress of life.
